Ok im goin to throw in my 15 or 20 cents about what i would like to hear at temple cause god knows it would get played anywhere else.
I wouldnt mind hearing some early michel jackson before he got superweird lookin and start messing around with little boys.Maybe something from Off the Wall.
Any and all Prince stuff but if i had to select a few songs "My name is Prince" "Lets go Crazy (the party mix)" "Baby im a Star" and "Sign o the times"
I know I know I know this will get a laugh but what about some Motley Crue or some Ozzy both are really good acts. Actually i wouldnt mind hearing Coal Chamber with Ozzy doing "Shock the Monkey".All acts metioned above will get me to the floor on any night.Oh i need to make some more money so play Copa Cabana

been a while since I've been able to get out with any regularity to any type of scene though this Temple thing looks like it might be interesting and was going to try and make it out this saturday. For what it's worth I'm going to throw out my .02 and hopefully will give everyone a good chuckle ;)

You asked for what would I go out and dance to.. well.. baring being chained to a chair:

anything off NIN PHM, I remember fondly the coke break combo Only Time and Rinfinger at the underground.
Front 242 - "Headhunter"
Ministry - "Thieves", "So What" anything from mind is a terrible thing to taste
White Zombie - "More human than human"
Filter - "Hey Man, Nice Shot"
Prodigy - "Poison", maybe "Voodoo People"
Messiah - "Thunderdome"
Sisters of Mercy - anything really
Planet Soul - "Set You Free" used to hate it, but.. well it's been a while
Portishead - "Sour Times"
Janes Addiction - "Mountain Song"
INXS - "Devil Inside"
Stereo MC's - "Connected"
Lords of Acid - stuff from Lust

I'm sure most of those are overpopular, overplayed, to cliche, silly or whatever, but hey.. they'd make me dance ;p

Just about anything from the '90-'96 era of 121, Underground, Boiler Room would be great.

I'd like to hear some Johnny Cash. Some of his stuff is surprisingly dance-able. Oh, and he's like the gothest guy in HISTORY.

If Johnny Cash gets played, my faith in the DJ system shall be renewed and I shall return to requesting artists and songs that suit my own preferences.. I mean, who WOULDN'T wanna shake it to Leonard Nimoy's "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins"?

I am purposely keeping my mouth shut since the majority of my music is alternapop and Brit-pop.

Ok, you asked for it....I'll just list my favorite bands for now!

Keane
Travis
Starsailor
FILTHEE Immigrants
Our Lady Peace
BUTCH WALKER!!!!!!!!!! (stressing this one, and this includes his stuff with Marvelous 3)
Peter Searcy
Muse (I can see this one getting play, maybe)
Jason Mraz
Pink

Oleander!!
Evanescence (but not the radio hits)

There are lots of other things but those are the ones that get the most play in my cd player.

Somebody should play Tents of Kedar, by Gropius, I believe. It was on CelticSmith's Vampyrate Booffet CD he made when he DJed at Sanctus last year. It's purty! :D

Fallen has it, I'll bet. ;)

It'd be pretty kickass to hear some Placebo. My first choice in song would probably be Special K.

Glad to see mentions of Mortiis :)

I swear when I request his/their stuff I feel like I'm only talking to myself, lol.

And, I would love to hear some Placebo when I'm out...
