I believe when they say "trashy" it is in reference to certain people who run a boards 'homophobia'. They are fucking JerkOff bitches that need hot lead between their eyes so there will be something in their cold and empty skulls. I think they believe they are elite when they are no more than just fascist pricks.

This is for a few homophobes on KFC (the private forum which may not be named committee)
you guys are fucking retarded. I don't dig on drag queens personally, but a BUILDING is just a building.
Why be homophobic?
Pirates and Pirate raids are fucking retarded too.
You know what, gay clubs do a lot more business than goth clubs-and gays don't seem to run clubs out of business the way goths do, (planet earth, merc, lava, neptune, fairbanks #1 and the Other Side and ALMOST the Giant Fucking Panda, remember karaoke-goths show, business leaves.)
In fact, if you don't like gays so much, start showing up to their club and its SURE to shut down a month later.
Will this night last forever? Doubt it-but it IS an oppertunity to do something different w/ new DJ's who i'm posititve won't play the same TIRED set lists.

Going to a gay bar doesn't make you trashy. I believe this is a poke at the private forum which may not be named...and, my goodness, didn't we have our Black Ball at a mostly gay bar?? I think we did!!
Nope, being
trashy makes you
trashy. I never understood why *some* drag queens want to be nasty white trash skanks over beautiful, elegant women...
When I said "trashy drag queens" I meant that a lot of drag queens I've seen around The Carousel are not the best examples of drag. I want "Priscilla Queen of The Desert" style drag queens, not Walmart negligee, straight out the trailer drag queens. Do you understand the difference?
Where you guys are coming up with people being homophobic is beyond me...it really hurts my feelings and insults me that you two who have known me for years would assume I am such.
As I said on the private forum which may not be named, I find women a bit too enticing to be homophobic, and personally, I wish I had more male gay friends because they are entirely too much fun. Ricky Moon was the maid of honor (over me) at my moms wedding
in drag so that shows you I wasn't raised with any such ignorance.
Also, even if one member of the private forum which may not be named is homophobic (and I don't know that any are),does that mean the rest of us are??!! Can you believe that not one out of all of KG's members could be homophobic or rascist? Are you gonna leave here too??
I'm baffled. Please clarify.

Certain people have made repeated derogatory comments towards the gay community. It was not you.

buttercup, you are one of the few people in the "goth" scene i really like and respect-nothing i say is directed at you.
i don't recall u posting bible verses!
(the only reason i didn't post on KF is i don't know my password because i never post there. or here for that matter !)
but my goths kill clubs observation i do believe is correct though.
it's kinda like Agent Smiths description of humans in the 1st matrix.

Besides, someone else said they didn't want to be around a bunch of trashy goth's. It wasn't you though that person seems to have suddenly erased their comment. Interesting.

And Ophelia, I used your quote because I thought you were referring to the first post That said they didn't want to be around a bunch of trashy goth's(which was not hardcoregirl and seems to have been deleted since then). And the homophobic comment's were because the same person who said 'trashy goths' (not KGers)has only used derogatory comments towards the gay community as a reason for not going.

Hrm. I don't know about chilling with trashy drag queens and trashier KG'ers...lol.
I didn't see the other post you are referring to.
Who gives a shit. Let's just go, have fun. I'm excited that Connie is DJing (you too, right?) and as I stated earlier, I'm VERY excited about walking home from a club!

Ok- I did say that I wouldn't enjoy hanging out with trashy drag queens or trashy KG'ers. I don't like all members of KG. I don't like all members of the private forum which may not be named. I find some of both boards to be irritating. Also, some people I consider closest to my hearts are on KG, the private forum which may not be named or both. I'm just not carebear enough to like everyone..I'm sorry. I don't chose to hold company with all 500 plus members of KG or all 60 plus members of the private forum which may not be named. For some reason, I was just imagining those who would attend the Carousel event to be in that group because usually, a lot of these events seem to cater to those I find irritating. For example, I never attend these kareoke things, because a lot of those attending I find rather exhausting (NOT including Taro-he's allowed to be cool and into kareoke simultaneously).
Ophelia, I was referring to deadjester and Balance as those having known me for years.
Also, I didn't take your jab personally, but I didn't mean anyone who goes there =trashy. You are a bit overeducated to be trashy. I've always wanted to go sometime, as I have never caught a drag show, but I have made the observations of the trashy drag queens from Sic and Ill's.
I believe I see who you are referring to, and in my company, they have never done anything I'd consider homophobic, but, its really for them to clarify not me. I don't really see how their comments automatically equal homophobic either. I'm assuming "gay mafia" may refer to club owners, wanting a piece of the profit. I wouldn't consider it slang, nor would I consider "queerosmell" but then again, I would consider myself a "faghag" and thats using a derrogatory term.
Lots of people assume because I'm white I'm rascist...but no one really ever assumes that because I date guys I'm homophobic....*shrug* However, I have friends who have revealed themselves as being rascist, republican, etc, etc, and after knowing them for a while, I can't manage to toss them aside because we differ in opinion. For example, my dads family would shit a brick if I ever brought home a black guy...but I have to overlook their ignorance, argue it when possible, but I can't just throw away my family.
bleh.

Traditionally speaking, there is very little profit in having a goth night. There is a reason they are always on sunday in this town. On any other night the clubs can actually make more with ANY type of club night. The goths of this town have Sunday because it is convenient to the club and we are willing to take Sundays over nothing. The fact is THEY asked Connie to do a goth night, which is an unusual kindness bestowed upon the Goth Community. Might as well take the opportunity while we can. I think it will go over well.

I would have liked to attend, if not just to hang out with Connie and you, Steve, but Sundays are always hard for me since my kidlet has skool the next day.
But, good luck to Connie and I hope it goes over well.

Or, maybe they're just doing it because the Electric Ballroom already has.....
None of this really matters..... Go or don't go, but stop bitching about things from other boards.... We don't care!
This public service announcement brought to you by the Head Carebear!!!! Now, F*&% Off!!!!

That would make me laugh.
"Oh no! Some people don't like us! Quick! Shut down the night and don't try to make money! Boo boo boo!"
