See, I can understand this. Of course, while my favorite music couldn't be called "goth" (well, it could, but then a million and one fucks who have a percentage point of a life below my own standing would whine and point at my discrepancy), they all are either:
- Insane.
- Evilâ„¢.
- Just. Plain. Wrong.

there was a time, hard to believe, that i could go down the member list of KG and that other board

that came before it and name every single person and i knew them all personally and most of them had been to my house for one event or another, i look now at a single thread and i cant tell you who half the people are. have i become too old? when did i stop being IN the crowd, wow, what a weird feeling, this is the day i told myself would never come when i was 22. and i guess im not really that upset about it. the people i do know i love dearly, and i guess thats enough, ok this is starting to look like one of my xanga things, sorry, its getting late here and its been a long day, i have to reflect every once in a while.
hehe
take care

not yet, but the knife has been put through its paces gets used everyday

thanks
i prolly wont either, anyone i get close enough to cut i end up getting along with rather well, anyone i would want to use the knife on are usually 25-50 meters away or more, a bit more in 9mm or m16 range
and what did that have to do with reflecting?

Mistress Eve(L) wrote:um sadly I have noticed this trend. I liked them before all that happened....I saw their lunchbox in torrid and nearly fainted....on the other hand I have seen misfits lunchboxes too.....wonder how they feel about that? I highly doubt they agreed to it!
yea, actually they did. they are in control of their merch, unlike many of the bands whos labels use their likeness...
jerry even reissues alot of the images that glenn made famous that glenn gets the cash for (i.e. the skull) just to keep the name and the band in peoples minds. its preventing people from forgetting about them and making them $$$$.
the deal is this:
1)all the old images, art, logos glenn gets cash for. the old songs, he gets the majority of the royalites.
2)jerry got the name and all the $$$ on the post glenn shit.
before most of my merch collection was stolen, you would be shocked at some of the misfits swag i had found that was authentic. i still think the action figures are too fucking far though.

This is kind of off topic and all...
But, I don't know about Jerry....
Every time I have met him, he has been totally nice and cool to me and all the people I know that have met him.
But, I have read articles, interviews, and heard people talk...
And, what I have heard is pretty much that he is ruining the misfits name.
And, what about Doyle and Glenn hanging together and shit again? And, Doyle being on the outs with Jerry....Thats some crazy shit...

*raises hand* Yep, that one happened to me last year. Got a call from the teacher concerned about my son's "dark" look
Fucking christ I hate our school systems. Or rather I hate the way they try to turn everyone into politically correct sheep. If I ever win the lottery im starting my own private school. No religious pressure No dresscode No fucking metal detectors And no more turning our children into fucking salesmen! Fair teacher saleries. Tuition will be free and restricted to children with parents who make more than the average family.... I could go on forever.
Oh yeah sorry Good Charlotte sucks donkey cocks. Im saying that from a purely musical standpoint. It's the same old shit we have heard a thousand times in a new box. I was watching an interview with Maynard from Tool once and he said something like "they should have two billboard top 200's. one for the artists who actually make music and another for marketing. Bands like slipknot and Good Charlotte would be up there with McDonalds"

doyle claims he will rejoin the band post-1950 stuff (which i really really dig).
jerry has planned project 1950 for about two years now and doyle never had any desire to do it, plus theres been some tension there and the break will help that as well.
doyle and glenn hanging out? glenn -LA. doyle - Lodi, NJ.
distance factor, doubt it. but if he was thats pretty fucking sweet.
the beef was always with jerry......
Goth Fashon.

I wander if goth fashion will become more main stream. Like in the old day when men dress in suites and women dress in more formal dresses.

Yeah, like I fit with the "goth music crowd"
I am an old 80's hairband/metal head and my music of choice now is Disturbed, Godsmack, Fuel, Shinedown, Nickleback, Staind etc, etc, etc.
So you don't like the "goth bands" or you like "shudders" Good Charlotte or Jimmy Buffett, who gives a flip, really?
