Nashville would actually be easier for me. No time off from work, then the after party at Asylum....... hmmmm

I still need to win the lottery so I can buy a ticket, though.

If we could all get our tickets together, I think this would be a great idea. I don't care where I see them, as long as I get to. Please let me/us know if you all have any concrete ideas/plans.

I don't know about Nashville, but the floor tickets in Knoxville are festival. No seats, just an area....

i've seen several shows at municipal including apc and tool, and they usually let people in the "balcony" on the floor if they wish. they don't even really have much of a balcony anyways, its a rather small arena. apc wasn't very packed though, tool it was a bit harder to get onto the floor if you weren't already there. have fun.

I was at that show, on the floor and it really sucked how everyone was just pushing toward the stage. I thought my lungs were gonna pop. I can handle the pit...but just squishing...ugh.

And at the TOOL show last Nov, they gave you wrist bands I think if you had floor tickets and wouldn't let you out there if you didn't have the right one I think. I like the option of going wherever I want at a show.

A friend of mine got taken home in an ambulance from a TOOL show...now that's hardcore!

Ambulance ride....not hardcore....that would suck.....

I hate the pushing thing....it happens at nearly every show I'm at....but you know , its the worst right next to the rail in the front....like everyones weight from the back to the front is pressing on you......and Im not a small girl by any stretch of the imagination....but I am Really short.....I have to have someone hang onto me.......because every time that pushing shit starts.....I get picked up.....and carted away just for beeing stuck between 2 6'5" frat guys who are drunk and think pushing is fun....cant explain it but it scares the hell outta me

The tshirts cost more than the ticket...which is why Im cheap like that and didnt buy one

and i was a bit confused a the mosh pit that broke out during the last song which was a slow one! (Halo)

but other wise..............I didnt get pushed! wow!

pushing does suck, especially due to the fact that i am almost always between these big, bald, angry, drunk, big guys. i don't usually have that much of a problem though. but that particular show, apc last tour, i remember we ended up on the side towards the front, where we could actually see better anyway, with this polygymus(sp?) couple that kept talking to heather as if she could hear them. all because the pushing was so bad, our other friend was having problems breathing.

the best part though, about decking that dumb ass, was the look on his face. like "i can't believe you just did that". mother fucker i have big boots on with "your balls" written all over them. he just kind walked off like a puppy with his tail between his legs. i'm not a violent person at all, but when it comes to me, or my friends, in that environment. i will "fight" back.

but what really sucked was that poor itty bitty little girl at the front, with sweat drenched down the back of her shirt and pants. and it wasn't hers. poor thing.

i'm pretty sure the only reason the tool show had wrist bands was due to the fact that the show got moved from gaylord. that way all the people that got up at the butt crack of dawn to get good seats(myself included) had the best chance to get their preferred view. luckily, we were at the front, on the rail, with breathing room. so close we noticed that maynard and heather own the same pair of panties.
