Actually he was from Orlando. He and Robert moved down there for awhile. yup, next to the French Quarter...BUt, When Robert moved out to go up north...Dave went back to Orlando to be with his parents. Actually was working in a tuxedo rental place. last I heard from Yulie..He was still there? Or was getting ready to move somewhere else?

I only ever went to the Merc once. It may have been what ever it was immeadeatly after the Merc, the Blue Room maybe?

There was the foxy bar tender (I had a MAJOR crush on her, but hell I was 17-18, still wet behind the ears, and she was a wordly, streetwise, well-read, versed in the world, good looking woman, with relationship trouble). that used to run a bar next to were Little Sisters used to be in the OC. I can't even remember her name, she was a tall, waifishly thin, curly red head. She ran the bar there and then went to the Merc after she had to closed her place.

The place was called Frogs when I went there. It had this big facade over the bar and you could write shit on it. Its changed hands a couple times since then anyone been there in a while?

I used to go in on a friday or saturday and drink a whole pot of coffee or 2 for like $2.00. Smoke unfiltered cloves or a pipe, and just people watch. I wrote a paper my senior year about that place, wish I could find it. I saw some of the best live shows I've ever seen there.

My buddy Matt and I had a list of names for 'drunk' that we took up there. We had all the ones we could think of and people just added to the list, we had like 30 or 40 names. Matt's still got it and he laminated it.

I dunno where he is now. He was living in Orlando taking care of his mom who had breast cancer for a while, but when I tried to email him about you and Candace getting married, his email addy was invalid. He mentioned moving to San Francisco a couple times. Maybe that panned out for him. I told him about the board a couple times but I don't know if it never held interest for him or if he moved before he got a chance to join. *shrug*

Rob's still in NOLA, managing a liquor store on Decatur. He cut all his hair off, gained quite a bit of weight and became a wine snob, but that's our Rob. Still the same as always. It's good to see some people never change.

I've got TONS of pics from Merc, but no scanner. If anyone wants to go through them, lemme know.

Ill scan them all for ya, my scanner is really fast.
