School shooting in Campbell County

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Hell, no. Or being "goth". I place the blame squarely where it belongs, on the parents.

In my opinion, if you give birth to a child, it is your responsibility to raise them to be decent people who don't go around threatening to shoot other kids. If you let them get away with everything, they grow up to be self-centered, uncontrollable brats that should be locked up.

Frankly, I hope the parents are charged with child neglect or as accessories. They are as responsible for this as the kid.

Now, let me climb down off my soapbox before I go into full rant mode. :)

Nope, its in Jacksboro. My mom and dad both grew up there, so basically my entire family lives there. And, I went to Anderson County also. What year did you graduate?

:P You know who I am.

I don't believe they've made the choice if they're going to take him to trial as an adult. They're still talking about it... Personally I hope he does. The kid is old enough to know what he was doing, if I remember corrently. His father was arrested for shooting somone about 10 years ago. Atleast thats what I hear through the grapevine. I suppose I could ask my father since he went to high school with the kids father. *shrugs*

The DA is pushing for an adult trial. I think it will be tried as one.
