PC ownz all over consoles in the FPS arena. Sorry, but consoles lose this battle in so many aspects. Other than that though, yeah, console beats out pc.

Another mysterious announcement, this time in the form of a 3D fighting game from the folks responsible for the Guilty Gear series - which is really enough for any fighting game fan to get excited about.
Castlevania
Koji Igarashi, the man behind the recent Castlevania games, has mentioned that he's working on a next-gen (read: PS3) Castlevania title, which he hints will likely be thematically similar to the current-gen console Castlevanias rather than the more Metroid-style handheld Castlevanias.
Devil May Cry 4
Sword-wielding, gun-toting series protagonist Dante is back, wandering through snowy landscapes and beating up poor, defenseless cameras and generally just looking damn cool (as he's been known to do from time to time).
Final Fantasy VII Remake
When Square Enix showed off a tech demo of the opening of FFVII with improved graphics and character designs more like Advent Children, many people took this to suggest that a remake was in order. Which is indeed the case - director/producer Tetsuya Nomura admitted to 1UP that he does indeed intend to turn it into a remake (when he gets to it).
Silent Hill 5
The Silent Hill team has said that they're working on a new project for the PS3, and although they haven't specified what, it seems fairly certain that the series will hit the PS3 sooner or later, especially with the movie due out shortly.
...and...so much...
mahjong...

if for no other reason,
this is why i'm having wet dreams over the ps3.
that, and on the off-chance that they come out with a fatal frame 4 for ps3 - after the third one, i'm definitely hooked.

Oh yeah, almost forgot this one:
Fatal Frame 4
Producer Keisuke Kikuchi has said in an interview that a Fatal Frame title for next-gen consoles is already in planning stages. Survival Horror fans will be delighted at the notion of snapping photos of ghosts in glorious high-definition.
There ya go. Also, the FFVII remake is now official. Hey-nannee-nannee and a ha-cha-cha.

forget everything i said about the PS3.
After seeing the Press Conference and price at E3 and seeing the Wii and its price, it's back to nintendo for me.

ps3 will still have the games worth playing.
nintendo is for kids. playstation gets games that make your brain go "what the fuck?!"
it's really quite simple:
if you want to watch an animated character cruise around and almost get the equally animated girl, nintendo is fine.
if you want to watch an animated character cruise around and cut the head off of the equally animated girl, then eat it and use the entrails for toilet paper, body art, and clothing, then the playstation is for you.

Yay, November 19th at a price of 250$. I will definitely be buying a Wii. Hell, I may even preorder a console for the first time ever.

i actually really love my 360. and i plan on buying a Wii. ive always thought the Wii/Revolution would be the platform that takes it next. esp with nintendo pushing for a broader spec of games to evade the "kid games" persona. i mean i dont want a mario FPS or anything. but its a step all the same.id like a ps3 but the price point is too high for a system im only buyin for MGS and FF games.
