I personally find this entire thing highly offensive, grew up a fat kid and i still am, I know exactly how bad it can be to go through school with the fat jokes from your peers. Now with the administration labling how fat the kids are will be devistating to thier self worth and self image. All you people making a joke out of this FUCK OFF.

I don't think it should be on the report card. I think it should be on the lunch menus.

Anyone remember school pizza? You know, that big square block of lard, covered in grease, and containing maybe a gram of nutritional value.

And to balance that out, we got an hour a day of Gym class (in the North) or P.E. (in the south), which consisted of hitting a goddamn wiffle ball into the bleachers, and then running your fat ass half a meter before deciding it wasn't fun anymore, and then faking a seizure because it let you sit on the bleachers and munch on some funions for the rest of class. Oh, wait. Was that last part only me? No wonder why I was a porker in school. Tee Hee.

Seriously though, I think they ought to incorporate more physical fitness into the curriculum.

Like maybe making kids balance their Twinkies™ and Moon Pies™ on their heads while drinking a Red Pop™ and finishing that fucking calculus quiz on time.

In a similar news story today, the owner of a Michigan company who forced his employees to either quit smoking or quit their jobs said on Wednesday he also wants to tell fat workers to lose weight or else....

Obesity is causing more health problems in this country today than smoking (don't believe me?... look it up... insurance rates are now officially higher for obese people than chronic smokers).

What do kids do nowadays? They sit in front of computer screens or computer games and eat Hot Pockets and Doritos.

When I was bored as a kid, my mom sent me outside to play.

I agree, it's the parents' responsibility, not the teachers. But parents are REALLY slacking as a general rule.

I agree with you completely but the joking, hey lets make fun of the fat kid attitude that seemed to go through this thread is what pissed me off.

Simple fix! Make fat kid pedal bike to power generator. Generator connected to computer and/or entertainment system. Fat kid stop, game go off. No more fat kids.

Also! Video tape fat kid pedaling, send to America's Funniest Videos. College tuition ensured.
