ive met some of the highest ranking masons in VA and TN. i know some of them by name. most of their highest rankers live in these two states, DC, and NY.
EVEN THE HIGH RANKING MASON REPUBLICANS FOR THE MOST PART CANT STAND BUSH. what he does violates alot of masonic code. if he ever showed up to a meeting, theyd probably boot him. it would be a hella vote i tell you that.
too many things the masons believe in are completely opposed to what bush does. but the thing is, they let people say whatever they want because it doesnt effect what they higher ups do

the masons in essence do nothing but raise the quality of life for those around them
they do not support war
they give most of the money invovled into the organization into health care and buiness persuasion to avert problems anywhere they can.
they build childrens hospitals for fucks sake.
there are organizations that get mixed up with the masons (ahem to a certain skull and certain set of bones....)

the masons get so many companies fucking people over in legal trouble, shift investments, ect ect.
they cant say this shit, but people not involved can and do.
you see the masons dont do ANYTHING as an organization but charity work
everything else is shit the members do on their own, grouped together.

that being said ive seen what happens when they get pissed
law doesnt apply when you own the law, and they really fucking do in most of the country. judges, lawyers, ect. when the masons say that guy is harming people or their organization, they are on a fucking timeline.
