ill be damned. they are playing.
but i think id rather eat paint chips than go to a goth type show in JC with the locals here. what a fucking joke, a JC scene. if youve ever been here you know what i mean.
my prediction: "ohh they are dancing" :point, laugh:
i predict drunken know it alls giving people shit.
yet i know ill probably be drug by a certain somebody to see this train wreck....
ask vampy or punkrockjoe or (if you can find him) nemesis about this.
anyone whos been here really.
theres two or there people that talk a good game, but in application this town is ran by the highest common demoniator of dipshit.
Do you have something negative to say about everything? It sure as shit seems that way. If you don't want to go to something, then don't go, but don't down on it. I know of several people who went to great lengths to make this happen, and people claiming it's not happening, I have an issue with. If you aren't a fan of the scene, don't go, I'm sure if you act this way in person you won't be missed.
Sincerely,
Andy
yes i do have something to say about anything involving johnson city
i like the hideaway, i like heather alot and ive been on good terms with her since i met her.
its just i consider about 90% of this town the lowest common denominator of shit on the face of existance and given i have the freedom to voice my opinion, im doing it.
never said a word against you or yours, so lighten the fuck up some. its just the general population around here wouldnt know shit if they had a feeding hose from their ass to their mouth. i hate the town, i hate the people, and until you figure out someway to over rule freedom of speech, ill keep downing it. im leaving here in about 5 weeks, and ill talk shit about this shithole till i do. then ill talk shit when im gone. because i could honestly care fucking less about the "scene" or the "people".
does this effect you? no. so dont worry about the ramblings of an old drunk.
and as far as the people that booked this goes, if they can get any band worth a damn to play in this shithole, they get my respect and all probably worked hard. i see nothing wrong with that.
but the people that show up to the show, rule of thumb tells me ... fuck em.

Junkie,
No offense was meant. Just seemed to me as though you had a vendetta against either The Hideaway, or against Johnson City.
AS far as cameras...
No video, or audio recording. Still cameras are allowed.

I hope some of you guys can make it out to see The Cruxshadows tonight in Johnson City. I wish I could. I've seen them 3 times and they always put on a really great show. Too bad I live so far away...

As much as I would love to go to this, the onslaught of work after having been gone is not going to allow for it. I hope everyone who goes has a great time. Take some pictures and post them.

Gothlace and I had a BLAST

last night. First I would like to thank
Carnage for letting us know and getting things together. I would like to thank my love
gothlace for spending money on me so I can see Rouge and The Cruxshadows. And I like to thank my car,
yes my car for getting us their. And of course
THE CRUXSHADOWS for a great show.
I took two rolls of film last night. Get those Pictures out as soon as I can.
The night started with 3 other bands that were OK. The last band before Cruxshadows called Blind Sight freakin rocked the place. I enjoyed them. The Cruxshadows (CXS) had a good set up. Rouge is a very nice guy. I got to talk to him before the show. And yes I told him all about Knoxgothic. If Heather's Hide-away can score with CXS I know we could get him to Sanctus. Of corse it's up to Sanctus DJ's. I ask him why he dose not come to Knoxville. He said we would have to contact his agent and work it out.
CXS look really tired and wore out.

They had been on tour for a long time since May 2004. They went all over Europe. Still they gave it their all. You should have seen Rouge. He got out in the crowd he got on tables and the railing. He sat next to gothlace and sang to her a little. After talking to him he is a super nice guy. He even pick up gothlace purse after she drop it and ask her if she was OK. At the end of the show he got everyone in the bar (that would fit) up on the stage. Everyone was dancing and jumping around, it was fun.

I wish more of us could have been their. Maybe next year they could come to Sanctus. We can't go wrong with them coming to Sanctus.
Here are some of the song they played.
Winter Born
Return
Dragonfly
Deception
Citadel
Edge of the World
and a few more....

I'm good friends with their agent, and could probably work out a Knoxville performance when they come back this way in Sept./Oct.
