The last time I drove in a cemetary, I nearly ran over a dog! It just popped out of nowhere like a ghost!....Then we gave it some bread.
I like driving in the cemetary. It helps me with curves and stuff. I'm terrified of sharp turns , mainly on blind hills. That's really only because I've seen too many people driving in the middle of the road. They're crazy!

I still vote for big open places with curves and signs. My mother took me to West Town Mall afterhours. It has lots of curves, and weirdly placed stop signs. And you can practice parking. And perhaps, most importantly, there isn't a whole lot to hit if you can notice things like trees, lightposts and buildings.

I don't understand why everyone is so up tight about driving. So far I've wrapped one around a light pole (headon), I've had a woman come through the windshield and die in my lap, and I've survived. I still love to drive. What's the big deal? As for the other people on the road, you never know what to expect. That's why most driver's ed classes teach defensive driving techniques, instead of purely offensive. You can search for them on the web and read up on it. Comes in very handy. Has kept my butt out of many other collisions, that were b/c of stupid people.

Ok, so I'm not a perfect driver, but the dead lady hit me when I was in the passenger seat, and someone else was driving. Besides she was completely drunk and walking in the middle of a major 6 lane hwy, after midnight. She had dark hair, dark clothes, and when we saw the body afterward, she was still hanging onto both beer cans she'd had with her before the accident.

We hit her, she bounced off the hood, came through the windshield and hit me in the chest, got pulled back out, then flew up over the car, bounced off the trunk and landed face down in the road. We'd knocked her clean out of her clothes, but she held on to those beers. It was a horrifying night, but looking back there were a few comical moments too.

As for the whole telephone pole bit, there was entirely too much fog, I was on a curvy road w/o street lights, and someone came by with their brights on. I'm sure you can fill in the rest. But actually the pole was a blessing in disguise, cause it's the only thing that kept me from driving into the ravine on the other side of it. So either way, that one wasn't so bad. I survived both and have some really nifty stories. I also had a really cool bruise from this one. When I hit the pole, it jerked me forward. My chest hit the steering wheel, right as my seatbelt locked and pulled me back. There was so much momentum that it didn't lock as soon as I hit the breaks. Well anywho, I had a "no smoking" sign bruised into my chest for about a month. Cool huh!!!
