I was physically abused by my sons father. I was once grabbed by the throat and thrown to the ground, got punched, had knives put to my throat, etc.

I even had a restraining order against him and he tried to break my arm and got to go to jail for 4 days on his 30th birthday.


I wasn't offended at all, but perhaps it's because I know Nexx and know she wasn't endorsing such behavior. When I first read it, I thought it was saying, "look what I did to this bitch who didn't shut up" type thing...as in Nexx was saying she had beaten her ass, because Nexx is hardcore like that...but then I realized that was prolly not the case...

My friend was abused by her husband. I saw him kick her in the back when she was pregnant, and many other things,yet, many people on the board still call him a friend, which I find more offensive than a picture, that they would excuse such behavior...but...I guess I can't prove it to them...

I hate to do it, but since I've gotten complaints, I'm closing this thread.

I don't think Nexxus was endorsing violence against women, quite the opposite, actually. But the thread is upsetting some people, and in the interest of general harmony, I'm locking it.

I will also take this opportunity to note that KnoxGothic.com does not condone violence against women, men, children, small animals, electronic equipment, or even major corporations. The RIAA might not be included in the list - if they don't sue us for not including them.
