You guys missed a good time. The DJ's were great, music was very danceable, & the bartender was very generous with the cherries in my drinks!
We'll be out again next week, so get off your butts & come out!

Sometime, I hope to be able to make it to one of these nights. With work having been as hectic lately, it really hasn't been an option.

I can't resist sharing this quote after that comment.
While we were at 4620 before Sanctus one night, I was whining to Anya (our waitress that occasionally makes it to Sanctus) that someone had gotten more cherries in their drink than I had. She came back with three more for me and the following comment, "Remember, no matter how many you eat, the original will never grow back."

I'm getting ready to head out that way and I'm still not sure that Chimera is going on. I'll be there, if they will.

Of course it's going on. and Tony's moving to Crossville here real soon, so come out and support him while he's still here. Chimera will go on still, but with a different DJ. and Tony will come in once a month to guest DJ.

I'm not sure about everyone who went to Chimera at the EB last night, but I had a great time. There was no drag show (which is a good thing) so we could have arrived at 10 instead of 11. (I actually killed some time before going over and was still the first one there.) Next time Chimera hits the booth, let us know what time it'll be starting. I really needed to dance and the music delivered, although some of it during the middle of the night was putting people to sleep. Trance/Ambient lullabies?
More people should come out to this event. I realize that Sanctus Sunday once a month can be hard enough for those who need to work Monday morning, and adding more Sunday events isn't the answer to the middle-of-the-month social famine, but I found the atmosphere to be very enjoyable. Next time this rolls around, check it out!

Does the word "weekly" not connect with you that it occurs every week?

As fast as club nights come and go, it would be a good idea to post a NEW thread every week to advertise it, and ask for requests.
The music is good for hanging out and listening, but way too loud. Even with more people dancing it's too loud for the amount of people there.
The demise of Chimera!!

This Sunday will be the last Chimera. Tony's coming in town to do this last special one. After that the Ballroom will be closed on Sundays.
