I hope he has a swift and full recovery, but that they still send him home. Home is such a nice place to be.

Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. I know he's gonna get to come home for at least a 30 day leave but no one knows when just yet. Selfishly, I kind of hope for a discharge but that's me and I know it's not what he wants right now. I'm just very happy and thankful that he is alive and on the road to recovery.

I just wanted to say thank you for everyone who sent their thoughts and prayers out for my friend. He's supposed to be back in town sometime today or tonight. He's not 100% but he's alive and I am thankful for that. It looks like the Army is keeping him for now but at least he's gonna be home for a while. I am truly grateful to everyone for everything.
