I'd love CD copies of any music that any of you want played at Sanctus. Really, in some cases, it's the best way to get us to play some things.

I know that we come off as music snobs at times for not playing some requests when we haven't heard them. It's not really that we aren't willing it's just that when we already have a groove going and a direction planed out in our heads, it can be really hard to throw in a track we aren't familliar with without causing a train wreck. I'm not saying it can't be done, because it can. I just personally don't like to spin anything I haven really listened to.

Anyway, the point to all this is that providing us with copies of the stuff you feel we are neglecting or haven't been exposed to is a great way for you to start hearing some of the songs not currently in Sanctus Rotation.

And, before any of you "anti-pirate" types even start, understand that as DJs we are in a great possition to promote tracks for bands that are worthy. I therefore have no issues with using copiesof songs as it only benifits the bands, record labels, and the fans of the music.

Ok...gonna bring some Faith and the Muse...the need for some old Faith and the Muse is highly recommended...and I will bring a cd that has some Vast, VNV (good remixes) thank you BLack Metallic and fun remixes of Apop Bezerk...don't worry... I will label cds and song numbers...either way don't sweat it, the cds are copies and can be replaced...

I also had a huge surprise come yesterday! A friend from NY that will be attending our Sanctus for the first time ever! WEEEE!!!

I am glad I have someone to go with As Black Metallic will be unable to attend...or so he told me...I am still expecting a surprise there as well:)
