The "Songs I Really Like For No Apparent Reason" T

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

In fact, I'm somewhat of an Everclear fan as long as we're divulging secrets. (Why am I more ashamed of liking them than I am of Dean Martin?)

I like them both and actually have a secret crush on both Art Alexakis and Craig Montoya of Everclear. Heh...shhh..don't tell.

Ya know...they're playing at Dancin' in the District in Nashville for $3 on July 24th. I can't go because of that whole graduating from college thing, but if you make it get lots of pics for me!

I so wish I could go. I don't think I could get the time off of work though. :(

I like most everything by Busta Rhymes. A man who can work "multiple sclerosis" into a rhyme just does it for me. Not to mention the lyrics, "My man Julio, he moodio, the type of nigga that'll slap you with a toolio..." Too much.

I also love all incarnations of George Clinton/Parliament/Funkadelic/P-Funk Allstars, both with and without Bootsy Collins. "Tear the roof off the motha, tear the roof off the mothafucka, Tear the roof off the motha..."

Pete Yorn - Life on a Chain : This song is just realy odd, but for some reason everytime it just happens along on my radio it makes me wanna bounce.

Inspiral Carpets - Worlds Collide : *blink blink* Well.. er.. *shrug*

Savage Garden - I want You : Ok, so I've yet to hear a Savage Garden song that I don't like. Can't help it damnit... they appeal to my inner 15 year old girl!

I'm a HUGE Collective Soul fan... seen them in concert around 7 times. 3 of those times with Train. *purr*

There are things on my playlist that would scare a lot of you. Maybe even to the point of disowning me. *grin* Some of you have been exposed to it... Most often I get one or two sideways glaes that mean what has got to be "What the!?!".

I think the lead singer is adorable. Plus I have a soft spot in my heart for "Walking By".

There's this goofy song by Joe Dolce that DaddyGoth sings anytime someone starts whining... it's called Shaddup Yo Face. Pretty funny, actually.

I love Right Said Fred, Tom Tom Club, and own a wide variety of Spooky Halloween noises on vinyl. :woot:

I'm also a sucker for Brit pop and crazy old skool punk. I'm listening to the Birthday Party right now *giggle* Come owwwwn and kiss me black! Hey hey yah.. Hey hey yah Rah rah arghhhh!
