Everyone, Please take a moment and watch this video

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Everyone, Please take a moment and watch this video

Post by Bone »

A friend of mine e-mailed this link to me today. PLEASE take a moment and watch it, and pass along to others!

Those who know me personally, you know I am both a motorcyclist, and work in the Motorcycle Industry for my day job. Motorcycling is a HUGE part of my world. Sadly most fatal bike accidents are because car drivers aren't paying attention DON'T LOOK FOR US and pull out in front of Motorcycle.

Hopefully seeing this video will help make people more aware that motorcyclists are out there and to watch out for em. There are several riders here on this forum, help to protect tham all, and everyone else who rides a motorcycle. Watch the video and pass the link along!

Thanks Everyone!

Most of you probably don't know how close to home this is for me. I lost my father to a motorcycle wreck in 2001. It was the worst thing that has ever happened in my life and I can't describe the feeling of losing someone so close so tragically. Every spring my anxiety level goes sky high because I see all the bikers come out and have seen several close calls just driving around town. My husband is also a rider/mechanic and I dread the thought of ANYTHING ever happening to him. I appreciate this post and I wish they'd air it on national television or something of the sort to increase awareness.

The flip side of this is that there are many more riders out there these days who don't know what the fuck they're doing. I truly believe in mandatory rider's education before allowing a license, even though I know this isn't likely to happen in TN.
