knoxville take a good look at your community -
then look at the other major cities around us

DECEMBER:

DEC 11th - TEMPLE 80s night
DEC 18th - Bone and Arkady at Urban NO COVER!
DEC 18th - hanid, beelzabettie and DJ thurmond at Temple
DEC 19th - SANCTUS
DEC 25th - Planet earth reunion party
DEC 31st - NEW YEARS EVE with bone and arkady at Urban

Jan 1st - Temple
Jan 2nd - new goth night in johnson City with tat2jay and bone

get out there and support your scene, its gotten pretty cheap (if not free) and lots of fun, bring your friends, bring your mom, bring your monkey (ok not the monkey, but come on how fun would that be??)

im just terribly excited about what the knox community is building, and we should be very proud of it!

I wish people would thank those who work their asses off to give us these nights. It seems like some people think that these events, and this board, just magically appeared.

I have only been to Sanctus once, but it was great!! Thanks to Bone, Arkady and anyone else that brings it together.

I used to do a lot of traveling outside of Knoxville several years ago to have fun. Although I still love to travel to visit other cities, the above keeps me from doing nearly as much of that as I used to. Props to those who organize the nights and props to those who continue to support the events and welcome new faces into the "scene". A blend of old and new events, faces, music, etc. ensures that things don't become stagnant and boring.

Growth is good. We are indeed blessed. Much gratitude to Arkady, Bone, Jay, Vader, & all the other folks who work tirelessly week after week, month after month, & year after year to make this community thrive. You guys rawk!

When I look around and see what we have for a community I see promise. The energy that goes into theses nights is amazing. Everyone banding together to do something as simple as drink and dance and socialize. Everynight is differant. There is a sense of loss when you miss a night and you hear that something happened that was really cool. To those who make this possible:

Damn...Ya know I knew about this board for about 2 years before I joined because I thought that 'Knoxville gothic' was an oxymoron....Damn, after becoming such a part of it...& gaining such good friends from this scene...I feel like an ass...I still miss Orleans though....I love all you guy...Well ok...not all of you...About 5% though!
