Yeah...it's always been a favorite of mine and yesterday, it seemed like everywhere I turned at work, someone was singing it. Some people looked at us like we were being rude but it's just easy to get in your head and hard to get out and when you keep hearing "Superman's Dead" all day long, that doesn't help. I definitely wasn't doing it to be disrespectful.

Slightly off topic, but his death came up in discussion at draft last night, and I mentioned that to me, Dean Cain was Superman. The threats and stares of disbelief from the older member were both quick and very pointed. So I'm wondering, am I alone? Am I the only one whose biggest source of superman-related experience comes from the old Lois & Clark tv series?

Didn't I read that you're only a year younger than me? I'm 25. I grew up loving the Superman movies (with Christopher Reeves) so how did you miss them? Just curious. I didn't really watch that tv show. I was too busy watching Seaquest DSV.

I'll always think of Chris Reeves & Margot Kidder in that first time flying session they did in the first movie. Yes, I listened to some of the old radio broadcasts & appreciate them too, but the movies still do it for me. Of course, younger folks probably first think of Smallville now when they think of Superman. Eh, at least the story lives on.

Yeah, I'm 24.. I don't know quite how it happened, but the Superman movies just never really.. did it for me. I got caught up in the TMNT craze instead I suppose, to which I attribute my undeniable lust for hot thick pie, pepperoni with enough cheese to make the crust balkat the challenge of containing it. Man, that got off topic fast.. As for Seaquest, yeah.. that was always a sore spot for me, showing two worthwhile shows at the same time in the time before Tivo.. And while I'll always adore Seaquest for giving me hours of quality Ted Raimi time, given my age at the time, Teri Hatcher was a very bouncy and tempting draw for my viewing habits.
