That is a directory listing of a few pictures I took to atemt to do a 3D model of a very intresting building ( in my opinion ) But at what cost... Less then 15 Min after taking these pictures me and my friend were stopped, detained, and questioned.. but not one, not two, but a total of NINE, yes [b]NINE[/b] (give or take one) cops and a K9 Unit.. after 30 min of questions and harrassment we were released on the shtree without so much as a ticket.. and Why did this happen..

That looks like the alexander building in Downtown Knoxville.....am I right?....if you didnt get anyone's permission to photograph the interior of a government ( or any other professional) building then you shouldnt be surprised that you were detained and questioned. 9/11 happened 4 years ago, but that doesnt mean people arent still suspicious and watchful.

You DO have to get permission to photograph property that is not public.

It would look suspicious if someone just showed up and took pictures of any building, ESPECIALLY the interior.( Before 9/11, the world trade center was bombed not by planes but by startegically placed bombs in the parking garage and subway beneath the building) Next time, just to keep the fuzz off of you, you might want to try notifying the front desk or any other authoritative figure in the building what you are there for, what you are taking pictures of and why. I know this is a free country and you shouldnt have to tell anyone anything, but you werent on public property, and times have changed.

Somehow I doubt you were harrased becasue of your attire, but that probably didnt help.

It was a place, Millinnium Square In Morristown a Public Building.. Open to the public and for free access.. If there is another building with the same internal layout would be cool to photograph it as well (wither permission of course if its a goverment building) and if no pictures could be taken at least a nice walk around would be cool.... I pulled the immages down from the sight so as not to cause problems with anyone, if you saw them great, if you didn't to late..

You wouldnt get a problem from us. Yes the interior of the alexander building is similar, but it has a metal detector at the front. Been a few years since I have been in there.

But now that you say morristown, I am REALLY not surprised, their wackenhut security follow my friend around the store all the time thinking she is a theif because of her huge bag (its a daiper bag.

I think there is only one or two architechs (sp) in the area so its actually common to find several buildings with similar looks (especially those red brick monstrousities, Oh I hate that guy).

Yes I cleaned the pictured off the sight, if you still want to see them all of them equal about 2 meg in sixe, I can zip them up to about that or maybe a little smaller and e-mail them to you, I don't want to keep them up on th enet jut in case one of the cops here locally would find them then come kocking on my door to know why thye were online.. thanx..

And yea the arachatech's name was Elliot something or other, a guy at the Square GAVE me his name, after I told him what I was doing, before the cops stoped 8us.. I did not ask for it, it was information offered to me.
