This is not a good thing. George Romaro is getting ripped off. They made the movie without saying shit.

Things are looking better but not by much. It looks like a direct to video realese and it also had no input from the man himself.

I remember going to see Day for a midnight movie the night it was released. My friends and I were "Star Wars" hyped for this one. I have mixed feelings about Day. The effects were great, but the story and character sucked - except for Bud. I just didn're really like any of them or believe in the situation they were in - And was that supposed to be the military or the fucking Louisiana National Guard
I understand that George really had to tone the movie down in terms of what he wanted to portray. The studio told him he could have a bigger budget for an R, he chose to stay with what he had budget wise to make it unrated. His original version of Day was on a much grander scale. Is someone would remake that version, or give him the money to do so, that would be something. His envisioned 4 Dead movie, Dead Reckoning, will probably get a green light after the success of Dawn (which I really enjoyed), but frankly, the story for that one sounds like shit.
As for this one, good gorey zombie movie? I'll rent it. But it does suck that something like this could be done without George's consent. I guess it all depends on who owns creative license.
