KFAR Temporary Outage 03-10-04

I just spoke with Pan at KFAR and they are in the process of adding to the tower so that more of us can pick it up via the radio. Hopefully, work will be finished by my show @ 6 or shortly there after..

How far do they want to get it? I can (well not in my car) get it all over west knox (and Im sure it could probably be heard the same in different directions), all the way out to turkeycreek (havnt try beyound that) clear. I mean it is a :pirate:

When I left the station today, shortly after 6:00 p.m., Arkady was broadcasting loud and clear - and his show was effing awesome! For a first time out of the gate, he did a stellar job. VERY impressive.
We added about 20' to the tower, which brings it up to about 110'. If that gives us a relative circumference of twenty miles or so then we should be reaching about 1/2 million folks. Pretty damn impressive. And it shouldn't be a problem if we're noticed, since we're not trying to steal anyone's advertising dollars. And we don't step on anyone else's signal, so no one's complaining.
Don't forget the pre-Sanctus benefit on Sunday, March 21st. It starts at 8:00 at the Pilot Light, so I hope everyone shows up and has a drink or two before getting their groove on at Sanctus.
