In my hours quilting this weekend an idea came to me. How would everyone feel about getting together and making a quilt for Jay? I will provide squares for everyone to write messages to him in fabric markers.. then if we could get a group together to piece it together. We could even get a KG group photo printed on fabric to use for the middle square. I'll take care of materials and all that if need be. All I would need help with is everyone writing their messages, and some help piecing it together. What say ye?
May your dreams be the future you could have had, and your nightmares be the realization that you destroyed your chance to make it reality.

Sounds cool =) but one question... how is Jay gonna get all this stuff home? He's gonna need a uhaul and his own airplane!

Don't let the, um, less-than-supportive peoples get you down;
Kasi is having surgery in a little over a week - maybe a quilt made of lots of squares with Jay pics on them would be comfy...
Erin, when you talk to Jay, could you ask him what all he's going to be able to take "into the box" with him. I'm sure it's prolly limited. T'would be good to know.
I'm Jewish. I don't work out. If god had wanted us to bend over, she would have put diamonds on the floor.
Ehh.. it was an idea. Thought I'd share it. I'm crawling into my hole because im sick and feel like shit. Not because im dejected. Quilts are great for passing the time.. makes me less homicidal at work.
