Don't forget to call the "Do Not Call List" at 1-877-872-7030 so that telemarketers will stop calling you during dinner.

A Do Not Call list is fine ...

What about a "Do Not Spam" e-mail list? I am getting like 50 a day now, and all of them are of the following categories:

* About teen sex, teen slut, x-rated stuff
* How to enlarge your penis
* Other illegal prescription drugs
* Pyramid schemes to make money

And my personal favorite:

* Hi, I am Dr. Zathu Nanaanga, from Nigeria, and yet despite my doctorate I am working in a bank (go figure) ... however my father's cousin's former roommate caught botulism and died, but left $20,000,000.00 million dollars in his bank account, and we need to get it out of the country.

I am drowning in this stuff everyday.

Earthlink. I've only gotten two pieces of spam since I've been with them (almost a year now). It wasn't even actual spam as in the mass mailing type, but rather people I didn't know trying to get me to download something sketchy. It's nice, but it gets kinda lonely on no mail days. ;-)

spam is not that hard to get around.. i have several email addys.. admin@ieatvegans.com - the one i give people
spam@ieatvegans.com - the one i give to sign up with places i don't trust
subscription@ieatvegans.com - ezine and news letters
ebay@ieatvegans.com - ebay stuff

so far it has worked rather well. the only spam i get is when someone decides to send an email to my domain that i don't have an account set up for. (it automatically gets routed to my admin account)

also if you have a yahoo account if you don't make your profile public you stand a far better chance on not getting spam.

I know the feeling. As a refugge from the dial I have earned pitty for the phone workers, so I'll just stay on the line with them and chill for as long as it is interesting.
