yes, i did survive the "little" windstorm that pretty much demolished Memphis Monday morning. I just got electricity back late last night....

okay, so i've been corrected - it was tuesday morning. amazing how meaningless days are when you have no air conditioning and no sleep.

350,000 people (out of the 480,000 subscribers) without power for more than 24 hours... mine was out for 36 hours, my work still has no power (we just got a generator at 2pm today)... and i've never seen so many destroyed, mangled, and flat out missing traffic lights in my life.

whee! it's been a fun week, let me tell ya.

Anyways, I'm back. :twisted:

And I think some of you KG ladies are wearing far too much clothing.

Glad your ok, I didn't even know about the wind till I read your post, but it did win me points with my big bro who lives in Memphis. As soon as I heard about it I called to make sure he was ok (he is still out of work due to power loss, but doesn't seem to mind to badly) it really meant something that his kid sis took time to worry. Thanks for the info and glad that all my Memphians are doing well.
