Battle For My Dark Soul

Postby immortal_souls » Mon Apr 10, 2006 6:42 pm

Here I sit in my Shell all alone in a living hell, O my dark soul.
Images all around me knocking, wanting me to come out and play
should I go or should I stay, O my dark soul.
Afraid what I say will turn them away, O my dark soul.
I step outside my zone although I might get cut to the bone, O my dark soul.
My eyes catch an image playing with another, it looks familiar and beautiful,
O my dark soul.
The others leave the image starts my way to play empty but looking to be full,
O my dark soul.
Then a bright voice comes to say "To another the image belongs, I should be
careful how I play," O my dark soul. Another voice comes a dark one who says
"I might want to do what feels good what I think is right," O my dark soul.
The dark voice fills my head with a haze I don't know which way pays which
way I should go, O my dark soul.
The light of the bright voice begins to break through the mess and says
"I'll take care of it all if only on me you call."
Goodbye my dark soul, no longer will you take your toll
Life is a path, death a destination
