Wanna know why you should never buy anything from a dwarf?

Read "Brunhilde's Bra" by Laura J. Underwood in TURN THE OTHER CHICK edited by Esther Friesner. This is the fifth volume of the popular Chicks in Chainmail series (Chicks in Chainmail, Did You Say Chicks!?, Chicks 'n Chained Males and The Chick is in the Mail)

Also, included are stories by Selina Rosen, Eric Flint, Harry Turtledove, Jody Lynn Nye and Wen Spencer.

My favorites so far:

"The Girl's Guide to Defeating the Dark Lord" by Cassandra Claire
"Over the Hill" by Jim Hines
"I Look Good" by Selina Rosen.

It's a great collection. As the blurb states: "One good turn deserves another, and those unpredictable amazons are in action again, swords sharpened, chainmail polished and makeup in place, ready to fight the good fight on the field of battle. And if you think they're just male wish-fulfillment fantasies, you'd better say it under your breath and out of their earshot, because these babes were born to battle."

It's fantasy and its lots of fun because one thing Esther Friesner is famous for is humor.

Available at all bookstores.
